THE BRIEFING

NOWADAYS, IT IS NOT ONLY POKEMON WHO NEED TO BE TRAINED. It is the trainers themselves. For this mission, engage in combat with another Pokemon without using a Pokemon. Whether you are in training with the League, or training in the wilderness with a partner, roleplay a scenario that fits the criteria above.

Suggestions can include a circumstance where your trainers suddenly lack access to their pokeballs, forcing them to fight hand-to-hand until they can get to their partners. Another idea can include Pokemonless combat to gain the respect of an experienced wild Pokemon like a Medicham or Machamp.

Alternatively, you can venture into a virtual reality game, where you and a partner attempt to take down virtual Pokemon bosses for loot. In this iteration, you may of course, use fantastical weapons or abilities that are reminiscent of MMORPGs.
